A leaked conversation has surfaced, revealing troubling ties between Danilo Vučić, the son of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, and the notorious Serbian criminal gang “Škaljari”. The chat, originally shared on the once-secure messaging app “Sky,” exposes how Danilo Vučić has been in close contact with key members of the criminal group, including Veljko Belivuk, a known member of the gang.

The conversation, published by the Montenegrin portal Vijesti, sheds light on the long-standing relationship between Danilo Vučić and the infamous “Škaljari” clan. In the chat, Belivuk, who has been accused of various criminal activities, referred to Danilo Vučić as “Little Danilo,” highlighting their seven-year friendship.

The group also discusses the government’s involvement with other notorious figures like Milan Radoičić and Zvonko Veselinović, who are allegedly entrusted with sensitive tasks by the Serbian government. However, the details of these assignments remain undisclosed.

Criminal Allegations and Tensions

In May 2020, Belivuk openly accused Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić of targeting the Škaljari group due to a supposed conflict with another dangerous Balkan criminal, Filip Korać, who allegedly sought to kill Belivuk. Additionally, Belivuk claimed that Serbian authorities had reported threats against Danilo Vučić from criminal groups, adding further fuel to the allegations of corruption and criminal ties within the Serbian political elite.

The conversation also touches on the deteriorating relationship between the gang members and Radoičić and Veselinović, with one of the group’s leaders, Milan Vujotić (using the alias Amico), stating that these two figures are now heavily involved in government dealings, although the specifics of their work are unclear.

Ongoing Investigation

This revelation has raised serious questions about the extent of corruption and criminal influence within Serbia’s political and security structures. The leaked messages, combined with previous accusations, point to a troubling intersection between criminal groups and key political figures in Serbia.

Authorities have not yet commented on the authenticity of the leaked chat, but the publication has sparked a renewed investigation into the possible connections between the Vučić family and organized crime in Serbia.

As the investigation continues, the relationship between the Serbian government, criminal organizations, and the Vučić family is likely to remain under intense scrutiny both domestically and internationally.
