Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani visited the Kosovo Police Directorate in North Mitrovica, where she expressed her gratitude to police officers from all communities for their daily service. The visit was accompanied by Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla, General Director of the Kosovo Police Gazmend Hoxha, and the Mayor of North Mitrovica Erden Atiq.
“We are here to thank the police officers from all communities for their daily service in the interest of all citizens, protecting their lives and property. We want to encourage them, as even during festive nights, they sacrifice being away from their families, and we offer all possible support from the institutions of Kosovo,” said Osmani.
During this end-of-year visit, President Osmani also took the opportunity to distribute gifts to children in North Mitrovica, “I take this opportunity to wish all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, regardless of ethnic affiliation, a happy holiday and to wish everyone health and prosperity, with the hope that 2025 will bring the best for our country. Once again, Happy New Year,” said Osmani.
