Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with Italy’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Antonello De Riu, to discuss the February 9 elections and the next steps for forming new institutions after the certification of results.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting focused on the electoral process and the importance of smoothly transitioning to a new government. Additionally, both sides emphasized strengthening bilateral relations between Kosovo and Italy.
Italy remains an important diplomatic and economic partner for Kosovo, with ongoing cooperation in governance, security, and EU integration efforts.
