Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani met today with the European Union Ambassador to Kosovo, Aivo Orav, to discuss the electoral process and the next steps in forming new institutions.

According to a statement from the Presidency, several high-ranking EU officials are expected to visit Kosovo in the coming weeks and months. These visits are seen as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between Kosovo and the EU, particularly in key areas of development and European integration.

During the meeting, Osmani reiterated her call for the removal of EU-imposed punitive measures against Kosovo, labeling them as unfair. She emphasized the need for joint efforts to advance Kosovo’s strategic priorities, including strengthening democratic institutions and accelerating its European path.
