The recount of ballots from 50 regular polling stations concluded on Tuesday night at the Center for Counting and Results (QNR), following a decision by the Central Election Commission (KQZ). The process took place in the presence of accredited observers.
Of the 50 polling stations, 35 were located in the municipality of Vushtrri, while 15 were in other municipalities.
According to the KQZ’s announcement, the recount of 1,631 invalid postal ballots will begin at 12:00 PM today. These ballots are spread across 177 ballot boxes and will be recounted based on a decision by the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP).
The KQZ has confirmed that this process will also be conducted under the supervision of accredited observers, ensuring transparency and compliance with electoral procedures.
In the QNR, the recount of the 50 polling stations has been completed as per the KQZ’s decision, with the recount of the invalid postal ballots set to begin at noon.
