During a press conference in Finland, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed concerns about the potential for the United States to turn its back on Ukraine amidst the ongoing war with Russia.
Zelensky downplayed these fears, expressing confidence that U.S. aid would continue despite a brief period of strained relations between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of transparency in Ukrainian diplomacy, stating that he wanted both President Trump and his team, as well as the American people, to understand that Ukraine’s priority is to end the war as swiftly as possible.
“We want them to see and understand that it’s crucial for us to end this war as soon as possible,” Zelensky stated.
