The winner of this year’s Club World Cup will receive a prize of $125 million. This edition of the tournament, set to take place from June 14 to July 13, will feature 32 teams, an expanded format compared to the 2023 edition.
FIFA has allocated a total of $525 million in guaranteed fees for the participating teams. The highest-paying team, likely the top-ranked European team, such as Real Madrid, will receive $38.19 million, while the representative from Oceania, Auckland City, will earn $3.58 million.
In addition to these guaranteed amounts, another $475 million will be distributed based on match results. Each group stage win will earn $2 million, reaching up to $7.5 million for reaching the round of 16. The winner of the final, which will be held at MetLife Stadium near New York, will receive a substantial $40 million.
The tournament will be hosted in the United States, marking a significant event for global club football.
