The Mayor of Zveçan, Ilir Peci, has strongly reacted to the incident that occurred last night, where unidentified individuals threw two hand grenades at the Kosovo Post building in the municipality.
In a statement to the media, Peci described the act as a terrorist attack and expressed concern about the recurrence of such actions in Zveçan.
“These attacks in the municipality of Zveçan are known to occur from time to time, but we strongly condemn this terrorist attack. We believe that these attacks have only one purpose – to instill fear in the citizens,” said Peci.
Peci also emphasized that the attackers are suspected to be part of the same group, adding that they continue to carry out destabilizing actions.
“According to some information, it is the same group, and they are continuously carrying out these actions with such a goal,” he added.
