Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, traveled to Belgrade today despite an active arrest warrant issued against him in mid-March.

Dodik arrived in the Serbian capital to participate in the rally “We Will Not Give Up Serbia,” organized in support of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, according to klix.ba.

Earlier in the day, Dodik appeared on the pro-government Informer TV alongside Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin. When asked by host Dragan J. Vučićević about the expected turnout, Dodik replied, “It’s difficult for me to estimate, but many people are coming from Republika Srpska, at their own expense. I believe there will be several hundred thousand attendees. This is not about Vučić or politics; it’s about the Serbian people.”

Later, in conversation with Vulin, Dodik claimed that “Bosnia and Herzegovina has bad intentions toward Serbs.”

The rally, called by President Vučić under the slogan “We Do Not Give Up on Serbia,” comes at a tense time for the country, as student-led protests have been ongoing for several months.

Other notable attendees included outgoing Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, outgoing Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić, and other senior political figures.
