The attack reportedly occurred near the Chongar checkpoint on Russia’s R-280 “Novorossiya” federal highway, one of the main logistical routes used to supply Russian forces in the occupied Crimean Peninsula.
Footage shared online appears to show a powerful explosion striking several vehicles believed to be used by Russian forces. The authenticity of the videos has not been independently verified, and there has been no official confirmation regarding casualties or the extent of the damage.
The reported strike comes as Russian authorities continue conducting extensive vehicle inspections at entry and exit points to occupied Crimea, leading to long traffic queues.
