The leader of the Egyptian Liberal Party, Veton Berisha, said that following today’s meeting with acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, no agreement has been reached.
“We don’t have a proposal. I came here as a Member of Parliament to fulfill my duty with dignity. There is no agreement with Kurti—we’ve talked, but we haven’t reached any deal yet,” he stated.
Berisha confirmed that he will vote for whoever Vetëvendosje proposes as Speaker of the Assembly.
“I will absolutely vote in favor, because we support the establishment of institutions. After that, we’ll see. We are ready to take on responsibilities,” he added.
