The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, stated that they did not vote in favor of the report by the Commission for Verification of Quorum and Mandates, considering it unconstitutional.
“Currently, Prime Minister Kurti and all the ministers who were elected as MPs are trying to simultaneously hold both executive and legislative positions, which is explicitly prohibited by the Constitution of Kosovo. The Constitution clearly states that one cannot serve as a Member of Parliament while holding an executive position,” Krasniqi declared.
He added that the situation could be resolved if they were to submit their resignations today.
