The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a farewell meeting today with the Ambassador of Italy to Kosovo, Mr. Antonello De Riu, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mandate.
During the meeting, President Osmani expressed her gratitude to Ambassador De Riu for his valuable contributions during his mandate in Kosovo and highly praised his efforts in strengthening the relations between the two countries. She wished him continued success in his future diplomatic endeavors, emphasizing that the friendship and partnership between Kosovo and Italy will always remain strong and grounded in shared values.
President Osmani highlighted that Italy’s support remains essential for Kosovo on its path toward Euro-Atlantic integration. She underscored the need for continued Italian engagement as a strategic partner, particularly in reinforcing Kosovo’s position on the international stage.
