Today marks International Firefighters’ Day, and citizens of Prishtina will have a chance to meet the brave individuals who routinely put their lives at risk to save others, reports Gazeta Sinjali.
From 09:00 to 14:00, firefighters will be present at Zahir Pajaziti Square, displaying their work equipment and giving the public a close-up look at the tools and techniques they use in their daily missions.
Beyond honoring their dedicated service and sacrifice, this symbolic event aims to raise public awareness about the importance of preparedness and fire safety, as well as readiness in the face of other emergencies.
