This time around, Albin Kurti at least publicly did not appear to be actively involved in the parliamentary elections in Albania.

In contrast to four years ago, it is not known whether Kurti traveled to Tirana today to cast his vote.

There has been no public statement from him, and considering that a parliamentary session was held in Kosovo today, it seems unlikely that Kurti would have traveled to Tirana after the session.

However, this remains unconfirmed.

Four years ago, Kurti did vote, and even his political party participated in the elections in Albania.

After casting his vote, he had stated that elections are a day of democracy:

“Election day is a day of democracy. I call on all citizens of Albania to honor their homeland today by making the best choice according to the principles and values they hold. It’s a beautiful, sunny day, and it will remain so until evening. I wish many more beautiful days and prosperity for Albania and for every person who, like me, holds a passport of the Republic of Albania,” Kurti had said.
