The Kosovo Basketball Superleague enters the decisive phase of the “Play-off” final, where on Sunday at the “Sezai Surroi” Hall in Prizren, the fifth game between Bashkimi and Trepça will be played.
Trepça from Mitrovica is just one win away from defending their championship title, as they lead the series 3-1. The next victory would secure them the most important trophy in Kosovo basketball.
On the other hand, Bashkimi is forced to win to keep their hopes for the championship alive. The Prizren team aims to use their home-court advantage and the support of their fans to extend the series.
Recall that Bashkimi won the first match with a score of 84:77, but then Trepça came back strongly, winning three consecutive games: 79:72, 88:71, and 80:74.
The team that reaches four wins is declared the champion of Kosovo. For Bashkimi, who has won the title only once in history—in 2018—every match is a survival final.
