Member of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Hykmete Bajrami, strongly criticized Vetëvendosje (VV), accusing the party of lacking seriousness and political will in the process of constituting the Assembly of Kosovo.

Bajrami stated that the presiding officer of the session, Avni Dehari from VV, proposed that meetings regarding the constitution of the Assembly be held only once a week—contrary to the Assembly’s Rules of Procedure, which mandate sessions every 48 hours.

“We see this as further evidence that VV is absolutely not interested in forming the Assembly. They’ve reduced the lack of institutions to a problem of holding meetings every 48 hours,” Bajrami declared, adding that this request was rejected by other parties.

“It’s unfortunate that we gathered for the 17th time and didn’t move even a single step forward,” said Bajrami, describing the situation as unacceptable for the country.
