King Charles has sent a letter of support to former U.S. President Joe Biden following his diagnosis with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, Buckingham Palace announced, according to Rks News.
Charles, who is also currently undergoing treatment for cancer, met with Biden in July 2023 at Windsor, where they shared tea and a friendly conversation.
In addition to the King, many politicians and prominent global figures have expressed solidarity with Biden, sending him messages wishing for a swift recovery. The 82-year-old, who is the oldest president in U.S. history, has been described by supporters as a “fighter.”
In a public statement made today on the platform “X,” Biden thanked everyone for their supportive messages and expressed gratitude for the encouragement he has received during these difficult days.
