The 28th attempt to constitute the Assembly of Kosovo has ended in yet another failure.
As in previous sessions, a proposal was made to proceed with a secret ballot vote for the Speaker of the Assembly, but the motion failed to secure enough votes. Only 48 deputies voted in favor, falling short of quorum.
Presiding official Avni Dehari then interrupted the session, announcing that it will be rescheduled for June 9 at 11:00 AM.
This ongoing institutional deadlock continues to reflect a deep political crisis, with Vetëvendosje refusing to change its proposed candidate Albulena Haxhiu, and the opposition unwilling to support her, demanding a more consensual figure.
