KFOR mission commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, paid a visit today to the Novo Selo Camp, where he was welcomed by soldiers of the BENELUX multinational contingent (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg), reports Rks News.
The visit was made public by NATO’s mission in Kosovo through an official statement, which praised the work of this contingent, part of KFOR’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Battalion.
“The contingent, assigned to the KFOR ISR Battalion, provides valuable Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) capabilities that contribute to maintaining situational awareness for the KFOR Mission Commander,” the statement reads.
During his visit, General Barduani thanked the troops for their commitment and readiness in the field, emphasizing the importance of their presence in preserving stability and security in Kosovo.
