A missile launched from Iran struck the city of Beersheba in southern Israel early Friday morning, just one day after another missile had hit a hospital in the same city.
According to Israeli emergency services, the missile caused a fire on a road near the Microsoft offices, which, according to Iranian authorities, was the primary target of the strike.
Magen David Adom – Israel’s emergency rescue service – published a photo showing several vehicles engulfed in flames. Initially, no injuries were reported, but Israeli media later quoted the same service confirming that five people had sustained minor injuries.
Israeli officials have not yet commented on Iran’s claim regarding the intended target, while tensions in the region remain high.
