KESCO has announced that it has been informed of a significant shortage in domestic electricity production expected to occur tomorrow and in the coming days.

In the most extreme case, this would mean that the entire amount of electricity for consumers in Kosovo would have to be covered through imports.

Despite major logistical challenges and the high cost of energy on international markets, KESCO is making every effort to ensure the necessary supply and maintain system stability.

However, importing such a large amount of energy poses considerable difficulties, both technically and financially.

To minimize the impact of this situation, KESCO urges all consumers to take immediate energy-saving measures.

Every kilowatt-hour saved helps preserve the stability of supply and reduce the overall cost, which would otherwise burden all of us.
