Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong statement on Sunday, declaring that the recent United States attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities have significantly heightened the risk of the regional conflict spreading into a global war.
Ankara expressed deep concern over the potential repercussions of these strikes, emphasizing that the expansion of the conflict into a global war must be prevented at all costs.
“This conflict must not be allowed to expand into a global war,” the ministry’s statement read. “We call on all parties to act responsibly and to immediately halt the attacks.“
