Deputy from NISMA, Xhevahire Izmaku, stated that yesterday’s meeting “once again revealed the need for more refined political communication, and also exposed some hypocrisy.”

“To believe that it will produce something else, that it was just the first meeting,” she said, indicating a guarded optimism.

According to Izmaku, the responsibility for resolving the political deadlock lies with the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV). She emphasized that when a party lacks the numbers (votes), it must “sit down and talk with other political entities.”

“Once again, the need for a political agreement is evident,” Izmaku continued. “I think that perhaps at some point the President might need to act, but I believe it is in the hands of the major political entities.”
