Kosovo President Justina Shiroka-Pula met with State Chief Prosecutor Zejnullah Gashi, Kosovo Prosecutorial Council Chair Arian Gashi, and Kosovo Judicial Council Chair Rrustem Thaqi.
The justice officials congratulated Shiroka-Pula on her election as President and wished her success in fulfilling her constitutional and institutional responsibilities.
Discussions focused on the importance of an independent and efficient justice system and the role of institutions in strengthening the rule of law.
President Shiroka-Pula emphasized the need for an independent, professional and impartial justice system that guarantees the enforcement of the law and strengthens citizens’ trust in public institutions. She reaffirmed her institutional support for strengthening the rule of law while respecting the independence of the justice institutions.
