Macron urged the immediate release of Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris, two French nationals currently detained in Iran.

Protection of French Nationals and Facilities in Iran
He emphasized that French citizens and institutions in Iran must not be subjected to any threats.

Respect for the Ceasefire in the Region
Macron called for the respect and maintenance of regional ceasefires to help restore peace and stability in the Middle East.

Return to the Negotiating Table
He stressed the importance of resuming negotiations to address Iran’s ballistic missile program and nuclear activities.

Commitment to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)
