A concerning security incident occurred yesterday at “Adem Jashari” Airport when a suspected weapon was discovered in mysterious circumstances inside a men’s restroom around 1:30 PM. This prompted an immediate police response.
Suspicious Discovery and Ongoing Investigation
Sinjali learned that the object, believed to be a weapon, was wrapped in paper towels and placed suspiciously in a corner of the restroom. After finding it, a maintenance worker immediately reported the case. Police units quickly arrived at the scene to photograph and seize the item.
Initial findings suggest the discovered object is a replica weapon with the inscription “XIN SHIJI – Made in China.”
The suspected individual has not yet been identified. The investigation unit is currently analyzing security camera footage from inside the facility to clarify the circumstances and determine responsibility.
By order of the State Prosecutor, the case has been initiated as “Unauthorized ownership, control, or possession of a weapon.”
