At the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Albania (FARSH) today, a meeting was held with representatives of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) to discuss and draft the bilateral cooperation plan for 2025–2028, reports Rks News.
Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, Chief of the FARSH General Staff, praised the significant progress the KSF has made in transformation, modernization, and operational performance. He highlighted the importance of KSF’s participation in bilateral and multinational exercises as evidence of its growing capabilities.
Reacting to the meeting, the Albanian Ministry of Defense emphasized the strategic importance of this cooperation in a social media post, describing it as more than just a technical agreement.
“The drafting of the Albania–Kosovo strategic cooperation plan 2025–2028 was discussed in Tirana between representatives of the Albanian Armed Forces and the Kosovo Security Force.
This is not just a technical cooperation; it is a brotherly relationship that grows stronger every day with trust, respect, and a shared vision for the security of our countries and the entire region.
The KSF has taken great strides forward in its transformation and modernization, and Albania will continue to support it in every possible way—whether in education, training, experience exchange, or capacity building. We are determined to take this cooperation even further! Together, we are stronger!”
