Mitrovica, July 19, 2025 — The Mayor of Mitrovica, Bedri Hamza, has announced the completion of construction works on two major roads in the city — “Bislim Bajgora” and “Agim Ramadani” streets — marking what he described as another step forward in delivering on electoral promises.

In a public statement, Hamza emphasized that these roads had long been neglected and remained unfinished for years, existing only on paper and in unfulfilled plans.

“Mitrovica has waited too long for these two roads. Now, they are finally complete,” said Hamza.

He stressed that every completed project is a testament to the commitment of the local administration and a significant stride toward improving urban life.

“Mitrovica is reasserting itself as a city of work, led by an administration that has fulfilled more electoral promises than any other in Kosovo,” he added.

The mayor also pledged that infrastructure development will continue, affirming that the city will move forward hand-in-hand with its citizens.

The two road projects are part of a broader infrastructure agenda by the municipal government to modernize Mitrovica’s public spaces and transportation routes.
