France is preparing to carry out airdrops of humanitarian aid for Gaza in the coming days, according to a diplomatic source cited by The Times of Israel.

As UN-backed experts continue to warn of a looming famine catastrophe, the source stated that France aims to “meet the essential needs of the population in Gaza.”

France will conduct airdrops in the coming days to cover the most urgent and essential needs of the civilian population in Gaza,” the source said, also calling for the “immediate opening of land crossings by Israel.”

New Phase of Israel’s Aid Policy

This announcement comes on the third day of Israel’s new aid policy, which includes “humanitarian pauses” in fighting, the resumption of air aid drops by Arab countries, and, for the first time, airdrops by Israel itself.

Reports indicate that Spain and the United Kingdom have also announced plans to carry out air aid drops for Gaza, joining France in efforts to avert a humanitarian disaster.
