Pristina | August 9, 2025 | 16:44 – A total of 23 wildfire outbreaks have been recorded across Kosovo today, with 11 still active and 12 contained and under control.
According to the latest report from Operational Centers 112 and the Agency’s Operational Center, the situation is being managed in close coordination with the Professional Firefighting and Rescue Units, who are working intensively to contain and extinguish the fires.
The Agency has issued an urgent appeal for heightened caution from citizens, urging them to avoid any actions that could cause fires and to immediately report any suspected outbreak to the emergency numbers 112, 193, or 192.
“All citizens are urged to exercise maximum caution and take preventive measures to avoid the spread of wildfires. Any fire outbreak must be reported immediately,” the statement reads.
