Soldiers from the medical and maneuver battalion of the U.S. Armed Forces, assigned to the NATO KFOR Regional Command East mission, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, conducted a five-day combat lifesaver training course at Camp Belvedere in Kosovo.
According to a Facebook statement, such training initiatives enhance tactical medical readiness and strengthen professional relationships between NATO forces and local security institutions — a key factor in building long-term security and stability in the region.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate — based on the UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 — to contribute to creating a safe and secure environment for all residents and communities living in Kosovo, as well as to guarantee freedom of movement at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their roles as security providers,” the post reads.
