Yesterday afternoon, in the village of Joshanicë in Leposaviq, police stopped a red vehicle with Serbian license plates, driven by M.B., 45, who had entered Kosovo illegally from Serbian territory.
According to the police report, during the inspection of the vehicle and the individual, €13,992 and 17,880 dinars were found. In addition to the cash, furniture materials valued at €600 were also discovered.
With authorization from the State Prosecutor, a case was initiated for “Unauthorized Crossing of a Border Crossing Point or Border Line,” while the vehicle, financial assets, and other contraband items were sent to the Customs Terminal in Mitrovica for further processing by the relevant units of the Kosovo Police and Customs.
