Prime Minister Edi Rama has proposed Niko Peleshi as the new Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, describing him as the right person to succeed Elisa Spiropali due to his extensive experience in public institutions and his openness to technological innovation.
“Niko Peleshi, after many years of dedication and experience, is the ideal choice to lead the Parliament,” Rama said during the Socialist Party Assembly.
In addition, Klodiana Spahiu, a deputy from Durrës, has been appointed Deputy Speaker of the Parliament. According to Rama, she brings experience, dedication, and absolute integrity to the position.
