The Kosovo Police have announced that due to the organization of the international marathon “Prishtina 2025,” traffic will be blocked on several streets in Prishtina on Sunday.
According to the Police, all necessary preparations have been made to ensure the safety of all participants, including measures for temporary exemptions, restrictions, and full or partial closures of certain road segments.
The road measures aim to regulate traffic flow and ensure normal circulation during the event.
“The Kosovo Police will suspend vehicle traffic on the Prishtina – Fushë Kosovë road in the direction of Peja and vice versa, up to the junction (access to the Ibrahim Rugova highway). This plan will be implemented on Sunday (28.09.2025), starting at 09:00 until the marathon concludes,” the announcement reads.
To ease traffic management, the Police have requested the assistance and understanding of all citizens and asked them to follow official instructions.
