Sørensen in Zagreb: Croatia Reaffirms Strong Support for Kosovo-Serbia Normalization

EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, Peter Sørensen, visited Zagreb, where he attended the Croatian Ambassadors’ Conference and met with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

During the meeting, Sørensen and Plenković discussed the latest developments in the Western Balkans, with particular attention to the EU-facilitated dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

Sørensen thanked Croatia for its continued support for the dialogue and for its commitment to advancing the normalization of relations between Pristina and Belgrade.

“Good to be in Zagreb. A real pleasure to speak at the Croatian Ambassadors’ Conference and exchange views with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. Grateful for Croatia’s strong support for the Dialogue and its commitment to advancing the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia,” Sørensen wrote on X.

Croatia’s position highlights Zagreb’s continued engagement in regional diplomacy and its support for the EU-led efforts to resolve outstanding issues between Kosovo and Serbia.
