Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared today that Israel will not implement any part of the ceasefire plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump unless all hostages still held by Hamas are released.
“We will not implement any of Trump’s 21 points until the last hostage has returned to Israeli soil,” Netanyahu said.
He added:
“Only then will we move to the next phase.”
Netanyahu made these remarks during a speech at the Israeli Heroes Forum, an event attended by families and relatives of victims of the October 7 Hamas attacks and the ongoing war in Gaza.
