Today, Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), exercised his right to vote alongside his spouse at the “Faik Konica” Elementary School in Prishtina.

After voting, Abdixhiku told the media that from tomorrow, the party will turn its attention to the upcoming national elections, which are expected to take place at the end of December.

“Immediately from tomorrow, we will refocus on the national elections. Expectations are that by the end of December, we will celebrate the next electoral process and democratic decision-making in the Republic of Kosovo,” Abdixhiku said.

He also expressed confidence that today’s runoff election process will proceed smoothly:

“Good day, good morning. We hope it will be a smooth and orderly process, as citizens have always conducted themselves in elections. I am proud of the democratic standards we consistently demonstrate. Believe me, in the standards of the Western Balkans, and even Europe, the way we organize elections, accept results, and manage the electoral process is a democratic marvel that all citizens of Kosovo should be proud of.”
