Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated before the media that he does not recommend holding new elections.
Kurti said that the government should either continue as “Kurti 2.5” until December or transition to “Konjufca 1” until April.
“There are only ten days left. The mandate has been given by President Osmani to Speaker Konjufca. We wish for the best outcome. We reiterate that it would not be wise to go to elections in December and then again in April. The deputies are facing a preselection: either Kurti 2.5 until December or Konjufca 1 until April. But one of the two must be decided,” Kurti said.
Kurti made this statement during his visit to the Kosovo Institute for War Crimes.
