The Kosovo Specialist Chambers (KSC) have announced that in the case of “Thaçi et al.”—regarding offenses against the administration of justice—the restrictions on former President Hashim Thaçi’s non-privileged visits will remain in effect.

In a publicly released decision, the Pre-Trial Judge in the Thaçi et al. case, concerning charges related to obstruction of justice, ruled that the limitation on Thaçi’s non-privileged visits, imposed earlier this year, will continue to apply.

Judge Margot Massolo determined that these restrictions remain necessary to prevent any further unlawful disclosure of confidential information related to witnesses. She further stated that the measures are proportionate and consistent with the rights of the accused.

According to the Court, the restrictions are reviewed every three months, based on reports from the KSC Registrar, with the next review scheduled for November 24, 2025.
