According to data published by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (ASK), a total of 20,940 babies were born in Kosovo during the period January–September 2025.
Of these births, 10,876 were male and 10,064 were female, showing a slightly higher number of male births and a generally balanced gender distribution.
The data indicate that July recorded the highest number of births, while the period February–March had the lowest figures.
Monthly birth statistics are as follows:
- January: 2,213 births
- February: 1,955 births
- March: 2,061 births
- April: 2,113 births
- May: 2,364 births
- June: 2,544 births
- July: 2,664 births
- August: 2,516 births
- September: 2,510 births
