Russian attacks continued throughout Christmas, as Russian drones struck a five-storey residential building in Chernihiv, a city in northern Ukraine, Ukrainian authorities reported.

At least three civilians were killed, while ten people were injured, including three children, according to initial reports from local officials.

Police investigative teams, forensic experts, and emergency services are currently working at the scene, conducting rescue and recovery operations.

The latest strike underscores Russia’s continued targeting of civilian infrastructure, even during religious holidays, further intensifying concerns over war crimes and violations of international humanitarian law.
