At the Counting and Results Center “1 Tetori” in Pristina, the Central Election Commission (CEC) held a press conference regarding the start of the vote-counting process for candidates for Members of the Assembly.
Yesterday, the Chair of the CEC, Kreshnik Radoniqi, announced that the counting of votes would begin today at 12:00, emphasizing that the confirmation of votes for political entities would also start in parallel.
“The announcement of the final results will take place after the conditional ballots, the votes of persons with special needs, and the votes from the diaspora have also been counted,” Radoniqi said.
He added that during the night, election materials would be received at the Municipal Counting Centers, while the counting process will continue in the coming days, in full compliance with legal deadlines and procedures.
This phase of the electoral process is decisive for the certification of results and paves the way for the formation of new institutions in the country.
