The leader of Vetëvendosje, Albin Kurti, expressed his gratitude to citizens for their trust and support in yesterday’s parliamentary elections, which he described as a historic victory.
Kurti particularly acknowledged the diaspora who came from all corners of the world, as well as those who voted by mail or at Kosovo’s embassies and consulates.
In his Facebook post, Kurti wrote:
“Dear compatriots who came from Europe, America, and every corner of the world, or who voted by mail or in person yesterday at our embassies and consulates, we are forever grateful for your invaluable contribution to freedom, statehood, and our nation, as well as for the decisive support that made this election victory so magnificent and historic.”
He also emphasized that the work continues, promising that:
“Security and prosperity will increase. May everything go well for us!”
This acknowledgment highlights the crucial role of the diaspora in Kosovo’s democratic process and the ongoing efforts to strengthen the country’s security and well-being.
