KSF: Teams on Standby, Have Intervened to Save Lives

The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has announced that it is supporting areas affected by flooding across the country.

“Following the situation caused by heavy rainfall and the flooding of several settlements, the Kosovo Security Force has raised the readiness level of its units in order to assist Civil Authorities in managing the situation,” the KSF stated.

According to the announcement, the KSF has intervened in life-saving operations based on official requests received.

“By order of the Commander of the KSF, standby teams have intervened in saving lives, based on requests received from the Situations Center of the Republic of Kosovo. KSF units remain on full standby to provide support to Civil Authorities through their Military Support to Civil Authorities capacities,” the statement reads.
