Rinor Nuhiu, adviser to the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has stated that measures are being considered against Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung journalist Michael Martens in relation to an article he published on Wednesday. In that article, Martens claimed that Osmani is seeking to secure another mandate by “playing the American card.”
He further alleged that she is attempting to present herself as a “Trump-backed candidate.”
“Defamation and slander, baseless accusations, and false claims made by Michael Martens (known as Andric1961) fall under civil and criminal liability under German law. President Osmani categorically rejects these defamatory claims and the dangerous spread of disinformation. The President is consulting with lawyers in Germany with the aim of using all available legal means to protect the integrity of the institution and the country she leads,” Nuhiu wrote on the platform X.
