Starting today, decisions issued by the Courts of the Republic of Kosovo in civil and commercial matters can be recognized and enforced in Montenegro, and vice versa.
The news was shared by the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu.
“A reciprocity agreement has been established between the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro for the recognition and enforcement of judicial decisions in civil and commercial matters. From now on, decisions issued by the Courts of the Republic of Kosovo in civil and commercial matters can be recognized and enforced in Montenegro, and vice versa. This is an important development that will facilitate the smoother recognition and enforcement of court decisions from Kosovo, improve legal cooperation, and help strengthen international relations in this field between the two countries,” reads the statement from Haxhiu.
