Albulena Haxhiu, Acting President of Kosovo, held a meeting with the Ambassador of France to Kosovo, Olivier Guérot, where discussions focused on the importance of institutional functionality following the elections scheduled for 7 June.
According to the official statement, the meeting addressed the current political developments in the country, with special emphasis on ensuring the proper functioning of state institutions after the electoral process.
Haxhiu stressed that Kosovo’s institutions remain committed to ensuring a regular, credible, and inclusive electoral process, as a foundation for the country’s democratic functioning.
Both sides also highlighted the strong relations between Kosovo and France, as well as the importance of continued cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including strengthening democratic institutions, rule of law, and Kosovo’s European perspective.
