The Kosovo Police arrested and later released Serbian politician in the north, Aleksandar Arsenijević, due to what the police claim was his failure to comply with a police order.

The Head of Regional Operations in North Mitrovica, Petrit Fejza, confirmed the arrest, explaining that Arsenijević had crossed a police cordon despite being ordered not to do so.

“Yes, he was arrested. He was arrested for not following the police order. He was issued a ticket but was later released,” Fejza said.

“They told him not to cross the police cordon, but he did so, meaning he did not follow the police’s instructions,” Fejza added.

On the other hand, Arsenijević claimed on Facebook that a Serbian citizen had been injured by the Kosovo Police in Leposavić.
