Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca said Kosovo is ready to contribute to the proposed International Stabilization Force for Gaza.
In a post on X, Konjufca said that responsibility for peace and security does not stop at borders, despite the distance separating Kosovo from Gaza.
“More than a thousand kilometers separate Kosovo from Gaza, but responsibility for peace and security does not stop at borders,” Konjufca wrote.
He said Kosovo had participated in a high-level briefing meeting of the Board of Peace, where, according to Konjufca, Kosovo stood alongside countries supporting the proposed International Stabilization Force for Gaza.
Konjufca described Kosovo as a success story, linking the country’s potential contribution to the NATO intervention in Kosovo 27 years ago.
“Once a country that needed international support, today we contribute to global peace and security,” Konjufca said.
He concluded by emphasizing that the Republic of Kosovo is ready to make its contribution.
